The ATL offers a wide range of business opportunities for contractors, vendors, suppliers, professional services, equipment services and more.
ATL is committed to carrying out all applicable requirements as contained in 49 CFR Part 26, “Participation by Disadvantaged Business Enterprises in Department of Transportation Programs” and continues to encourage DBE participation in all ATL contracting opportunities.
To provide our services, we rely on a broad range of contractors and suppliers who work with us through the procurement process. The goods and services we purchase are crucial to providing safe, reliable transportation for our customers.
Goods and services purchased by ATL are limited however, we encourage small businesses owned by minorities and women to pursue contracts to compete for ATL business.
To make it easier for you to do business with ATL, we’ve prepared this website area to explain our procurement process system, and let you know how we select our vendors.
We buy from small businesses and large corporations.
The requirements of 49 CFR Part 26, Regulations of the U.S. Department of Transportation, apply to FTA-funded contracts. It is ATL’s policy to practice nondiscrimination based on race, color, sex, or national origin in the award or performance of this contract. As an incentive to increase utilization of minority-owned businesses as subcontractors on State purchases, the State of Georgia provides for an income tax adjustment on the state tax return of any company that subcontracts with a State certified minority-owned firm to furnish goods, property, or services to the State of Georgia, including ATL. The Tax Incentive Program is codified at O.C.G.A. §48-7-38 and is managed by the Georgia Department of Revenue.
When a contract is ready for bid, ATL identifies available qualified DBE and M/WBE vendors and sends a list to the venders seeking bids.
